Explore how to bring trust into the workplace and actively promote trust within a team.

This one day class focuses on trust in the workplace.  What role does it play?  What are skills and actions which build trust?  Can trust be repaired once it is broken? The class is interactive in nature using a series of exercises, skill practices, role play and team discussion to: and introduce a set of communication tools that will aid in actively promoting trust. 

Objectives: 

  • Define trust and discuss its importance in the workplace.
  • Review the Trust Continuum. How does it affect interaction?  What can be learned?
  • Examine choices available to build, maintain and repair trust.
  • Explore actions, skills and tools that will aid in actively promoting trust.
  • Identify ideas  to help managers/supervisors cultivate a culture of trust.
  • Practice concrete skills through role play, exercises and team discussion.
  • Develop a personal /team plan for improving trust.
